Fortune VC signed an agreement on equity expansion with Hunan Yuyuan Biotech Co., Ltd. in Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province in August, 2009.

Yuyuan is a leading company in China's biological organic fertilizer sector, as well as the exclusive supplier of microorganism powder for micro fertilizers, which is expected to take up more than half of the micro fertilizer market in 2009.

Yuyuan provides high-end agricultural customers with the organic-inorganic-biological organic fertilizer solutions for equivalent substitution of chemical fertilizer, commercialized high-content fungus powder and technical support. As a leading new agricultural biotech service company, it aims to substitute the use of chemical fertilizer in China's agriculture, develop the circular economy of high-end agricultural customers, reduce the fertilizer input, continuously improve soil and increase the return from agriculture.

Fortune's current capital injection will help Yuyuan expand its capacity, step up the R&D spending, and build it into the first-class supplier of integrated high-content fungus powder solutions and services in China and even the world.
